Pre-apprenticeships

A Pre-apprenticeship (sometimes called an internship or work placement) is an unpaid work placement aimed at developing the skills and employability of young people aged between 16 and 18. Pre-apprenticeships can last between 6 weeks and 1 year, although most last for less than 6 months, and include at least 70 hours of work experience.

We guide trainees through the process of creating professional CVs that stand out to employers. This includes structuring their CV, highlighting their strengths, and tailoring it to specific job roles.
Employability Skills
Our programme covers essential employability skills such as time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication. These skills are vital for thriving in any work environment.
Understanding the Workplace Mindset
We help young people develop a clear understanding of the behaviours, attitudes, and expectations of the workplace, focusing on professionalism, workplace culture, and adaptability.
Interview Skills
Trainees receive coaching on how to prepare for interviews, including mock interviews, tips for answering common questions, and building confidence in presenting themselves to potential employers.
